- ABOUT US -
Venàfrum: An ancient Samnite town from the Roman era renowned for its olive oil.
The trees of Belgrove Estate were planted in 1998 in the hills of Bumbaldry (Cowra) 600 metres above sea level. Year after year these trees have been nurtured using traditional growing and harvesting methods. Belgrove Estate consists of only 1200 trees, of the Kalamata, Manzanillo and Correggiola varieties. The owners of the estate who physically planted the trees and who today hand pick and produce the "Venafrum" oil, believe that its exceptional quality can only be achieved in a small quantity.
"Each daily batch of olives picked has its oil cold extracted that same day"
